The Hays Assembly of God Church with Pastor Amy Fulton has been bringing Christmas joy to the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation for many years. She has been bringing the people together at Christmas time to share the Christmas story and the love of Jesus. Her goal is to reach as many people as she can with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to make the Christmas season a joyful time. She works all year gathering up gifts, other churches around the state and even from other states helps by sending Christmas stocking and other gifts.
Ladies from her church work long hours getting everything ready for that night. The Christmas gathering is the Sunday night before Christmas. This is their mission outreach to the Reservation.
The Christmas gathering has been growing each year. It out grew the church and was moved to a bigger building. Last year there were 250+ people and the building was packed. This year she was going to move again to bigger gymnasium so more people could come. This summer fire destroyed the building, and the building used last year is no longer available. A lot of prayer was going into what to do next. God answered the prayers and a building became available, Praise the Lord.
Everyone that comes to the Christmas gathering gets a Christmas stocking and a gift. Before they leave, they also get fruit and Christmas candy. However, the most important thing they get is God’s word. The word of God never comes back void. Every year there are people who accept Christ, during the service.
The Bigfork Chapel has been involved with the Christmas gathering for many years. Our church is very mission minded with a lot of giving people. They support this outreach with many gifts for the children and adult. Last year we filled half of our 16’ trailer with gifts. Our puppet team has been going for the last two years. The people love the puppets. They also do the Sunday morning service at the Lodgepole church.
I am looking forward to this Christmas gathering, there has been roadblocks put in our way but God has been moving them out of the way, and I am sure he will continue doing that. I would ask for prayer for the people of the Fort Belknap Reservation, and the many people that are involved in this outreach

New Sign For Lodgepole Assembly of God Church
The Lodgepole Assembly of God Church on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation needed a new sign. Their old sign blew down from the strong winds they have there. The church sits back off the road a long ways and if do not know where it is you can drive by without knowing there is a church there.
Pastor Jim and Grady Fritzs have been at the church for four years now. Ministry on the Reservation is hard, having the money to make repairs comes hard, and they depend on churches like the Bigfork Chapel to help.

Painting The Hays Assembly of God Church
It was time to paint the Hays church again, the wind and weather takes its toll on the buildings. The town Hays sits in the middle of the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Montana. The church has been there a long time with Pastor Amy Fulton. It is difficult for the pastors on the reservation keep their ministries going at the same time keep up with the maintenance of the church.
Our church has a strong tie with many of the churches on the reservations. The people of the church put money into a fund that is used to make repairs to the reservation churches. My wife and I along with other people of the church have the fun and joy of helping.
